I live on the edge of the Front Range in Colorado, where sky, high plains, and the Rocky Mountains meet. My personal background is the story of the Americas – part indigenous, part settler; grew up bilingual (English/Spanish) and now learning the languages of my ancestors (Gayogoho:no and Ngäbe).
When I paint, I try to bring in all the marvels and wonders of the world I see around me and combine them with the stories that make up what I am today. And that holds true whether I’m painting landscapes, indigenous faces, abstracts, or critters.
