American Horse

American Horse was a chief of the Oglala Lakota — a leader who held his people together through the Indian Wars, negotiated under impossible pressure, and never stopped fighting for what his nation needed. This horse carries that name and that weight. Alone against the open land, still standing, the sky behind it unchanged. The continent is still here. So are we.
