Deer Woman

I first heard about Deer Woman as a kid and she never left me. She shows up across many Indigenous traditions — Plains nations, Woodland nations, Southeast nations. She's a shapeshifter. A warning. A destroyer of lecherous men. Some figures exist to keep people honest. She's one of them.
