Thunderbird
The Thunderbird doesn't belong to one place or one nation — the figure appears across dozens of Native traditions from the Pacific Northwest to the Great Plains. I put this one over the desert because I wanted to show him in open sky, uncontained. Not in ceremony. Just flying, the way power moves when it isn't performing for anyone.
