Turtle's Dream

Turtle Island — that's what many First Nations call this place. The turtle carries the world on its back: patient, ancient, still here. Here the turtle floats in a field of color and signal, the four directions marked on its shell, arrows pointing everywhere at once. It's not a map you can follow. It's a map the turtle already knows.
