Northern Goshawk

The northern goshawk belongs to the deep forest, moving through trees at a speed that doesn't seem possible. That orange eye does not flinch. When you're lucky enough to cross paths with one, you understand immediately why it has been a symbol of precision and power across dozens of cultures. I've only seen one in the wild. Here's my painting.
