Palomino

This is a war pony. The paint on him is a language — hail to bring storms down on enemies, a circle around the eye to sharpen sight, horizontal stripes to ward off arrows. Every mark is a prayer and a threat at the same time. I've always loved that about Plains warrior tradition: beauty and danger, inseparable.
