Cayuga Language Series
Gayogohó:nǫ' — the Cayuga language — is one of the six languages of the Hodinǫ̱hsǫ́:nih Confederacy. Like all Indigenous languages, it carries knowledge that exists nowhere else: ways of naming relationships, land, time, and spirit that have no equivalents in English. And like all Indigenous languages, it has survived extraordinary efforts to silence it.
These eight pieces put the language into conversation. Each figure speaks directly — a speech bubble carrying the words as living language, not artifact. Not a lesson. Not a museum display. A person, talking to you.
None of these works are for sale. They are offered here freely.
